Privacy CommitmentCOGECO is a diversified holding corporation with operations in cable television, telecommunications and radio broadcasting, through which it provides leading edge communications services. Cogeco Cable Inc., the cable subsidiary, provides a wide range of broadcasting and telecommunications services to residential and commercial customers in Québec and Ontario, over state-of-the-art broadband network facilities. Through its subsidiary, Cogeco Diffusion Acquisitions Inc., COGECO wholly-owns and operates thirteen (13) radio stations across most of Québec with complementary radio formats serving a wide range of audiences, as well as Cogeco News, its news agency broadcast in close to 30 independent radio stations across Québec. At COGECO, we know that the protection of your privacy is important to you. COGECO shares that concern, and has implemented a range of robust business procedures and rigorous security safeguards to ensure that your information is kept confidential and used for only the purposes for which it was collected. YOUR PRIVACYAs part of its commitment to privacy, COGECO has developed a formal Privacy Policy, which sets out the rights of our customers and the obligations of COGECO with respect to the treatment of personal information. The COGECO Privacy Commitment that you are reading is intended to be a less formal summary of the main points covered by the COGECO Privacy Policy. You may choose not to have the telephone number associated with the telephone service you receive from COGECO listed in a directory. In such a case, you will have to clearly advise us upon subscription, or later, by contacting us at the same numbers and addresses as those mentioned above. On request, you may access all of your personal information held by COGECO, and you may request corrections to any inaccurate information. We strive to keep your personal information as accurate and up-to-date as necessary. KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION SAFECOGECO keeps your personal information only for so long as we need it to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. When it is no longer required, your personal information will be erased, destroyed or made anonymous. At all times, your personal information will be protected by appropriate physical, technological and operational security safeguards.
