There are many ways to create a webpage, from writing your own code to using a page design program. There are also a variety of tutorials and free programs that can be found on the Internet so we would recommend using a search engine like Google for more detailed information. Once your site has been created, it can then be uploaded to our server through an FTP program. Programs for the creation and upload of your webpage can be found at sites like Tucows or Download.com (some programs can do both).
For setting up your FTP program, you'll need to use the following settings:
Each email address will have its own 10MB of webspace so you can use any of your Cogeco email addresses and set each one up with a unique site or link them together. Now that you're online, anyone can view your site at home.cogeco.ca/~username (the username would be the first part of your email address). Please note that webspace only comes with our Standard and Pro tiers of Internet and would not be available with Lite or Lite Plus.
