No, there are no upfront costs for any hardware, no capital expenditures, no fees for a standard installation and no ongoing maintenance to pay for.
Do I have to purchase new phones or can I use my existing phones?
Cogeco Business Solutions will provide you with Polycom IP650, Polycom VVX 410 or Yealink T29G phone sets, included in your service. Optional devices such as sidecars or conference speakerphones are available for a monthly rental fee.

I only want to use certain features. Can I purchase those separately?
At Cogeco Business Solutions, we strive to offer a simple yet complete solution to our customers. For this reason, features are not offered separately for Business+ as we have included all of the features and functionalities that you need to run your business without having to worry about any extras.

Will my system be automatically upgraded?
Cogeco will automatically manage all system upgrades and new features, ensuring your system is always running with the latest technology.
Does Business+ come with a long distance plan?
Yes, with Business+ you get unlimited calling throughout North America, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Can I add or remove seats as my business evolves?
Yes, Business+ is highly scalable and flexible in order to meet your business’s changing needs.
Can I combine analog lines with Business+?
Analog lines can be added as needed. These can be used for point-of-sale terminals (POS), alarm or fax, just to name a few.
Can I use my current phone numbers with my new Business+ service?
Yes, the installation does not affect your current phone numbers. Your business will be able to continue to use all of its existing business phone numbers by going through a porting process.
How long does Cogeco's Business+ take to activate?
Your account, handsets and phone numbers are activated immediately during the installation process.
What's involved in setting up Business+?
Because this is a hosted solution, there is no physical PBX hardware to install. Once our Cogeco technician has set up your new hosted phone and internet system and phone sets, you can immediately start making and receiving calls. We also have a dedicated technical support team that is available to you and can provide any assistance you may require.
Do I need special equipment or a router to make Business+ work?
No additional telephone lines, PBX hardware or installation is needed. Business+ works with a high speed Internet connection, which is already included in your Business+ package. A router/switch will be provided during the installation process.

How do I configure/change features, passwords resets, voice mail options or the auto attendant?
All initial configurations are confirmed during installation and our technicians are on site to answer any questions to assist you in getting started. Our technical support team is available to make any changes required after installation.
Can I rent a headset from Cogeco?
Headsets are not be offered on a rental basis, but can be purchased from Cogeco. Customers can purchase their headsets from other sources than Cogeco. They can also use their own headsets (other than the suggested model). In the two latter cases though, Cogeco will not provide any support nor any device certification.
What if one of my devices malfunctions?
Manufacturers’ warranty terms and conditions apply to equipment purchased from Cogeco, and Cogeco will replace faulty equipment during the warranty period. Faulty rental equipment will be replaced at no charge during the contract term, so long as the device malfunction has not resulted from misuse.
