Cogeco customers who currently subscribe to the Ultimate 50 package will enjoy the faster speed through an automatic upgrade to Ultimate 55 with no change in price!

Starting today, most Cogeco Cable customers in Ontario can access the all new package that offers top download speeds of 55 Mpbs, upload speeds of 2 Mbps and a monthly data transfer capacity of 250 GB. Compared with competitors’ offerings, Cogeco’s Ultimate 55 package is the fastest available in its service area.

Ultimate 55 is based on DOCSIS 3.0, a data compression technology that allows for more efficient and economical bandwidth consumption. This positions Cogeco very favourably to respond to the constant increase in bandwidth demand at a competitive price and provide access to higher data throughput, improved video configuration and an increased level of security.

What’s more, the Ultimate 55 package includes Cogeco’s full line of security services and modem rental at no extra charge. With its six (6) HSI packages – Express 4, Express 8, Turbo 14,  Turbo  20 and Ultimate 30 and Ultimate  55 – Cogeco Cable can meet the needs of all Internet users. 

Ultimate 55 is priced at $109.95 per month for customers subscribing only to Cogeco Ultimate Internet and $99.95 per month to customers who also subscribe to Cogeco Television or Phone service.
