New Addition: The CityNews Channel
The CityNews channel is a live, 24-hour, local, all-news channel with an award-winning roster of anchors and reporters, who deliver traffic and weather on the :1sec, sports at the :15min and :45min, and business at :26min and :56min past the hour. The CityNews channel combines the most trusted news sources from across the most trusted media brands – CityNews, 680News, Sportsnet, Maclean’s, Money Sense, Today’s Parent, and HELLO! Canada to give viewers the most informative, all-encompassing news experience.
Broadcasting live from the heart of Toronto at Yonge-Dundas Square, the CityNews channel also simulcasts CityNews at Five, CityNews at Six, and CityNews Tonight. 680News streams its live audio news feed from midnight to 5:30am while the “Eyes of Toronto” keep watch on the GTA. Then, Toronto’s #1 morning show, Breakfast Television, offers an exclusive extra half-hour of BT following its simulcast from 5:30-9:00am.
The CityNews channel is available as part of the Digital Basic package, on channel 415, 821 in HD.
