Can I connect an HD/DVR receiver to any TV in my house?

The HD/Digital Video Recorder (DVR) receiver will work on any TV with the proper connections, whether or not it is a high-definition television (HD TV) set. Most of these receivers do not have coaxial output but do come with RCA (red, white and yellow) and component (red, blue and green) cables.

Pace Receiver TDC777D does however have a 'To TV/VCR' coaxial connection. The recording capabilities of this type of receiver make its installation worthwhile, even without high-definition (HD) service. On a standard TV, HD channels can still be viewed and would look like a widescreen movie with black bars at the top and bottom.
