Do I need a Cogeco HD/DVR receiver with a High-Definition Television (HD TV) set?

Do I need a Cogeco HD/DVR receiver with a High-Definition Television (HD TV) set?

All of Cogeco's digital receivers are compatible with your HD TV but in order to receive a true High-Definition (HD) signal, you would need an HD receiver and a subscription to HD channels. Standard definition channels would still be accessible and would have a lower resolution. Cogeco also carries a Home Theatre HD Receiver which does not have recording capabilities and is available at a lower cost.
