What are the minimum requirements to use Cogeco’s Security Services?

The minimum requirements are :

  • Operating System:Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
  • Memory: 512 Mo
  • Disk Space: 800 Mo

The recommended/ optimal requirements are:

  • Operating System:Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Vista SP2, Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion)
  • Memory: 1 Go
  • Disk Space: 800 Mo

Installing Cogeco’s Security Services on a computer that does not meet the minimum requirement will take longer than expected and may cause an overall decrease in performance, occasional system outages, or data loss. If your computer stops responding during the installation, your computer may not be protected during the time it takes to uninstall and reinstall the program.
