Why am I unable to access Video On Demand (VOD)?
Video On Demand requires two-way communication so that your receiver can tell us what you want to order. This can be blocked by equipment that is plugged in between the cable outlet and the receiver. To prevent this type of communication interference, the cable should always go directly from the cable outlet in the wall to the receiver: If you have a DCT1700, DCT1800, DCT2000 or DCT25000, it is also important that the receiver has the 2-inch cable loop on the back.
Correct configuration
- Cable outlet to
- Digital cable receiver to
- VCR /DVD/game system to
- Television
It is also possible that Video On Demand may, on the rare occasion, be unavailable due to heavy customer usage during peak periods. If this is the case you will receive a message saying “Server Unavailable”. Try again in a few minutes and you should be able to access the service.
Should your account payments not be up to date, it may also be possible that VOD services are temporarily unavailable to you. If you have any questions concerning your account, do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team.
