Can I record High-Definition Television (HDTV) programs?

High-definition TV shows (HDTV), meaning shows that are broadcast in high definition (HD), may be recorded in the HD format provided you own an HD-DVR. To view the program in HD you must have an HD television.

Recording capacity is between 20 and 25 hours. (Example from DCT 6416 Receiver.)
