What is Video On Demand (VOD) and how does it work?
Video On Demand (VOD) is an exclusive feature of digital cable that allows you to rent movies and programmes from the comfort of your home.
You can pause, fast forward or rewind these programmes with your Cogeco remote just like you would with a DVD Player or VCR.
Charges are applied for movies from the regular VOD menu, but you also have a wide selection of Free VOD titles that can be accessed through the VOD menu or by turning to the channels in the 600s.
Cogeco On Demand include many FREE channels for the whole family, children, sports fans and cooking enthusiasts. There is even a Karaoke channel.
Some of the Cogeco On Demand line-up includes:
- Free shows from some of your favourite cable networks such as Global, MTV, TSN, MuchMusic and more! Find out what your favourite networks have to offer On Demand.
- Kids on Demand: All the great free shows your kids love from networks like BabyTV, Treehouse, YTV, Teletoon and Family.
- Specialized On Demand programming includes Karaoke Channel, Galaxie Music Videos and the Fitness Channel.
Note: If you are ever unsure of the price of an order, it will be listed on the info screen (or listed as $0.00 if it is free).
