Change to TiVo Service equipment Not sure of the equipment you have

The sound on my TV has been low ever since I hooked up my digital receiver to my television, how can I fix this?

Usually, the TV and the digital receiver have separate volume controls. Each one should be checked to ensure they have not been lowered (if the receiver volume is low and the TV volume is high, you may also notice a buzzing sound). We invite you first to optimize the receiver's sound to improve the loudness.

Step 1: Press on Menu/Settings twice.
Step 2: Select Setup.
Step 3: Select Audio Setup.
Step 4: Highlight Select to optimize and press on Ok/Select. If the sound is still lower, please increase the sound to its maximum with the TV remote and then lower the sound with the Cogeco remote.

If you are connected to a stereo or home theatre setup, you should also check for a separate volume control, and verify that the equipment is properly connected.
