What do I do if I no longer see my wireless network name?
Before troubleshooting this issue, ensure that you are looking for the correct network name.
Check all of your wireless devices to ensure that none of them can see your network name. If any of the devices can see your network name, there is most likely an issue with the device that is unable to locate the network. Consult the manufacturer of this device for troubleshooting.
Try changing the channel on the wireless modem. As the network name is not visible, and therefore not accessible wirelessly, you will be required to connect a computer directly to the modem to access the internal settings.
If you are still unable to see the network name, perform a reset of the wireless modem.
