What does “activation” mean?

Once you have completed your installation, it is necessary for the receiver to connect with the Cogeco Digital TV service, and update itself with the required specifications and software to allow your service, menus and controls to function properly.

Retail activations require a call to our activations department to have equipment added to the customer account.
