Promotions are limited to new customers or those who have disconnected their service for more than 6 months. A minimum commitment period corresponding to the promotion and billed at the same address is required to benefit from the promotional prices. Preauthorized debits or credit card payments and service bundling on a single invoice are required. A termination fee shall be charged to customers who disconnect their service prior to the end of the contract period. Such fee shall be equal to the rebate on the sales price of the equipment, amortized over the term of the contract and multiplied by the number of months remaining in the contract period. In the absence of such rebate, the termination fee shall be equal to the lesser of $50 or 10% of the total monthly fee remaining in the contract period for each service. Channels may vary per region. The purchase or rental of a digital receiver is required to access Digital Television service from Cogeco. A 1.5% recurring charge will be applied to your monthly TV service and collected for the CRTC’s Local Programming Fund (LPIF). The LPIF fee applies only in certain areas based on the CRTC rules. A 12 or 24-month subscription is required. Cogeco On Demand service is offered where the technology is available and for customers who meet the Cogeco On Demand access requirements. Installation charges may apply for additional outlets. HD channels are available with the subscription to the equivalent channel in standard definition. HD receiver required. Subscription to an additional package in standard definition may be required.
The Standard receiver offer from Cogeco Digital Cable TV includes a monthly credit of $4.00 for the first 12 months. After the promotional period of 12 months, the standard rate will apply. If the customer terminates one of its services before the end of the promotional period, the current monthly rental fee will apply.
The High Definition Receiver offer from Cogeco Digital Cable TV includes a monthly credit of $9.99 for the first 12 months. After the promotional period of 12 months, the standard rate will apply. If the customer terminates one of its services before the end of the promotional period, the current monthly rental fee will apply.
The HD Digital Video Recorder offer from Cogeco Digital Cable TV includes a monthly credit of $10.00 for the first 12 months. After the promotional period of 12 months, the standard rate will apply. If the customer terminates one of its services before the end of the promotional period, the current monthly rental fee will apply.
