We’re no longer offering F-Secure Protection Service for Business.

Here’s what you need to do to stay protected.

As of March 31, 2019, we will no longer be offering F-Secure Protection Service for Business (PSB), as we are discontinuing our suite of Online Productivity Tools.

Instead, we are providing a different online protection solution called Cogeco Security services, powered by F-Secure and based on the award-winning F-Secure SAFE antivirus to protect you from online threats. With your new Cogeco Security solution, you will benefit from a full range of cyber security services, which are automatically and continuously updated with the latest antivirus signatures.

Every Cogeco Business UltraFibre Internet customer is entitled to two (2) free licenses for PC or Mac.

You will be required to download and install your new security software, which you can do from My Account. You can also manage your settings through My Account.

To gain access to your new Cogeco Security services licenses, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to My Account.* 
  2. Select Internet from the top menu bar.
  3. Select Security Services.
  4. Select F-Secure, then follow the step-by-step on-screen instructions.

* If you do not have a My Account profile, you can register here.

Good to know: You will have to download and install the new Cogeco Security services application on your PC or Mac to replace your current F-Secure Protection Service for Business, which will be deactivating soon.

Complete the steps above and activate your Cogeco Security services licenses before your current F-Secure Protection Service for Business gets deactivated on March 31, 2019.

We’re no longer offering Microsoft Office 365.

Here’s what you need to do.

As of March 31, 2019, we will no longer be offering Microsoft® Office 365®, as we are discontinuing our suite of Online Productivity Tools.

However, if you want to continue using Office 365, you can do so easily by having your service transferred to Ulogik, experts in productivity and security cloud solutions for businesses. We have partnered with Ulogik to ensure there’s no interruption to your service during the switchover. But of course, you’re welcome to move your Office 365 subscription to the provider of your choice.

To continue using your current Online Productivity Tools without any service interruption going forward, we ask that you contact Ulogik directly. They will tell you how to transfer your services to them.

Please note that you may get a call from an agent in the coming days to discuss the option of transferring your services. 

We will stop invoicing you for your Online Productivity Tools when your services have been transitioned to another provider, or March 31, 2019 at the latest. If you transfer your services to Ulogik, or to any other provider, they will invoice you going forward.

It’s important to act before March 31, 2019. This will ensure you don’t lose access to your services or to your stored data.

We’re no longer offering Mozy Backup service.

Here’s what you need to do so you don’t lose any of your stored data.

As of March 31, 2019, we will no longer be offering Mozy® Backup services, as we are discontinuing our suite of Online Productivity Tools. 

However, if you want to continue using a business backup service, we recommend that you call our partner Ulogik, experts in productivity and security cloud solutions for businesses, to discuss your exact backup needs and have them tailor the right solution for you. But of course, you’re welcome to move your Mozy subscription to the provider of your choice.

Please ensure that you have a backup solution in place before your Mozy Backup service is deactivated on March 31, 2019.

Rest assured that all your backed-up data is encrypted and only you have access to it. However, please note that all the data you have backed up with Mozy will be kept until April 30, 2019 and then destroyed.
