How do I set up parental controls for my wireless home network?

The Internet can be a wonderful tool for children of all ages. However, because so much of the easily accessible content is not appropriate for children, there’s a danger in letting kids explore the web without limits. That’s why we make it easy (and free) for you to set up and manage parental controls for your wireless home network.

You can set up parental controls through Cogeco Security services, available at no cost for Cogeco Internet customers. Follow these steps to set up parental controls on your computer:

  1. Open Cogeco Security services from the computer or laptop you wish to control.
    Main
  2. Select Browsing Protection, located at the bottom of the page.

  • Mark the days and times when the computer or Internet can be used, as well as the maximum amount of computer time allowed per day.
