We will not need access to your home as the burial is completed outside of the house.
The burial crew may require access to your neighbour's property, if so, they will request access once on site.
The burial may require a sidewalk or roadway bore to bring the line to your home, which may require further permits and pre-work to complete.
For a line to be buried, Cogeco is required to obtain municipal permits, locate and mark all other utility companies with spray paint and flags: gas (yellow), communication lines (orange), hydro (red) and water (blue).
The burial contractors must therefore submit a request to Ontario One, which assigns a locating team, to mark the indicators for other utilities. This procedure can take 2 to 4 weeks and is valid for 30 days.
