Why do some of my channels say “Subscription Service”?

The “Subscription Service” message means that your digital receiver is not programmed to receive that channel.

Sometimes your receiver “forgets” which channels are authorized on it.

Ensure that all of your connections from the cable coming from the wall all the way to your TV are correct and firmly attached.

If you are still experiencing problems, do the following:

  1. Unplug your receiver and wait 15 seconds.
  2. Plug the power back in and wait approximately 60 seconds.
  3. Then, turn the receiver back on.

If you’re subscribed to a channel but it’s still displaying the “Subscription Service” message, please contact us for assistance.

Good to know: If you wish to subscribe to a channel, you can do it in My Account (see How do I add TV channels to my channel lineup?).
