Change to TiVo Service equipment Not sure of the equipment you have

How do I check if there's something wrong with my audio/sound?

  1. For service with a receiver:
    1. Check the sound level of the receiver to make sure it is at a reasonable level.
    2. Check to see if the receiver's MUTE option is activated.
    3. Check the volume on the TV.
  2. For service without a receiver:
    1. Check the volume on the TV.
    2. Check to see if the MUTE option on the TV is activated.
    3. Make sure the SPEAKERS ON/OFF option on the TV menu is in the ON position.

For both scenarios, if the sound is still not functioning correctly, check the connections.
