Public Wi-Fi Hotspots FAQ
What are Cogeco Wi-Fi Hotspots?
Cogeco Wi-Fi Hotspots let you connect in several locations outside your home for free. This public Wi-Fi service is set up in various retail shops, parks, commercial streets and restaurants. You can find the complete list of our hotspots here.
If you're a Cogeco residential or business Internet customer, Internet access at these hotspots is free, so it won't affect your usage or monthly bill. You get unlimited access and your device will connect automatically after connecting once. This means that after completing the steps to connect the first time, you won't have to log in again to gain access to our public Wi-Fi service.
If you aren't a Cogeco Internet customer, you can log on for free at a hotspot for a trial session, which usually lasts 30 minutes. (In certain areas, the duration of this trial session may vary according to certain agreements.) You can enjoy 3 trial sessions every month, and you must log in each time.
