Refer A Friend Program (the “Program”)
Terms and Conditions

Under the Program, referring customers (“Cogeco Customers”)1 and referred family and friends (“Friends”) must have accounts in good standing2 at the end of the 2-month minimum commitment period (“Commitment Period”) in order to benefit from their respective credit(s). 

Cogeco Customers
For each referral made by a Cogeco Customer, a credit of $50 will be applied to the Cogeco Customer account once the Friend has been subscribed with Cogeco for 2 full, consecutive months, and whose  account is in good standing. 

Friends
Friends must subscribe to pre-authorized payments to be eligible for this Program. Friends must be new Cogeco customers or former Cogeco customers who cancelled all of their services more than 6 months ago, and who subscribe upon being referred to Cogeco under the Program. Friends must remain subscribed to at least 1 Cogeco service for a minimum of 2 consecutive months in order to earn and apply the $50 credit to their account. 

Referrals and Credits
Referrals are unlimited. Credits are limited to 5 per calendar year (value up to $250 per calendar year).  For example, if a Cogeco Customer refers a 6th Friend within the same calendar year, Friend is eligible to receive the credit, but the Cogeco Customer is not eligible for the credit.

Email address
It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address you use or provide to us when you subscribe to Cogeco services  matches the  email address used when registering for the Program via the unique link. If the email addresses do not match, no credit for the referral will be issued.

Consent for sharing of account standing and ineligibility
In the event Friend no longer qualifies for the credit at any time throughout the Commitment Period, neither Cogeco Customer nor Friend will be eligible to receive the credit. By participating in this Program, Cogeco Customers and Friends acknowledge and agree that some personal information regarding account standing may be shared for the purposes of credit reporting.

Timing of credit
Please note that the credit can take up to 3 billing cycles to appear on your invoice after the Commitment Period.

Program rules subject to change at any time. For residential clients only. 
No cash value.  If the Cogeco Customer or Friend  terminates their services with Cogeco before the credit has been applied to their account, the credit becomes null and void.  No reimbursement or other adjustments will be applied. 

For Referrals made by Cogeco employees, customers on Cogeco  bulk agreements, or by customers with Cogeco Courtesy Accounts, only the Friends will be eligible for the credit, provided conditions for the Program are met by the Friend. 

2For this Program, an account is considered to be in good standing when payment is received in full by the due date indicated on your invoice.
